The Ram 1500 electric pickup truck will launch in 2024, according to Stellantis. Also, Ram asks for input from real people to develop it.
Ram’s classic 1500 pickup truck is going electric. The parent company, Stellantis, plans to launch the 1500 EV in 2024.
“Launched as a stand-alone truck brand in 2009, Ram revolutionized the pickup truck segment once, and is laser-focused on doing so again with the best electric trucks on the market,” said Mike Koval Jr., Ram brand CEO – Stellantis.
Ram also wants people to provide input on the upcoming electric truck. So, the company launched Ram Revolution.
It’s an insider program where you can share comments or concerns. Also, you can ask questions.
On the website, Ram will also share updates, images, and videos about the new 1500 EV.
Mike Koval Jr., Ram brand CEO – Stellantis also said, “Our new Ram Revolution campaign will allow us to engage with consumers in a close and personal way, so we can gather meaningful feedback, understand their wants and needs and address their concerns – ultimately allowing us to deliver the best electric pickup truck on the market with the Ram 1500 BEV.”
Ram will also debut the Ram Real Talk Tour. At events, Ram will talk to customers and fans about what they want in an electric truck and van. It’ll allow Ram to invest in the best EV developments to meet the needs of its customers
While Ram may be late to join the EV movement, there aren’t many electric trucks on the market yet.
The 1500 EV will join the Ford F-150 Lightning, Rivian R1T, GMC Hummer EV Pickup, and eventually, the Tesla Cybertruck.
The company plans to have a complete portfolio of electric vehicles by 2030. Ram’s goal is to deliver more range, power, productivity, and convenience.
