Rivian produces exhilarating adventure electric vehicles. Find out what the current delivery estimates are for the Rivian R1T and R1S.
Rivian is known for tough electric vehicles built for adventures.
The R1T was the first all-electric pickup truck to hit the roads, and the R1S is a large electric SUV.
Reservations for the R1T and R1S have recently soared to 71,000, according to Rivian. Consumers are excited about the two Amazon-backed EVs.
At the end of 2021, Rivian announced that it produced 1,015 vehicles and delivered 920 to U.S. customers.
However, Rivian didn’t specify how many of each vehicle, as they offer the R1T, R1S, and EDV electric Amazon delivery van.
The following are the current delivery estimates for both vehicles.
Rivian R1T delivery dates
The Rivian R1T was the first available all-electric pickup truck.
If you pre-ordered the R1T Launch Edition, Rivian provided a delivery window of March to June 2022. For the Adventure and Explore trim, Rivian is aiming for delivery by the end of 2022.
The first R1T was delivered to RJ Scaringe, CEO of Rivian, and the other initial R1Ts were delivered to other Rivian employees.
Rivian R1S delivery dates
Rivian’s R1S is a large all-electric SUV. Many R1S customers reported estimated delivery dates of June to September 2022.
The first two R1S vehicles were delivered to CEO RJ Scaringe and CFO Claire McDonough.
